Step Two: Tackle opportunity with perseverance & drive.

There is always a balance in life with setting goals for the future and truly living in the present moment, and you need both in order to live life to the fullest.

In Hyp-Yoga we teach the yogic principal of doing your work with no expectation of the result. That does not mean that you "don't care" or are not "goal oriented." It means that while you are peacefully driven toward your goals.you are able to still enjoy the present moment and every single step of the journey towards your goals.

You are able to keep a peaceful prospective on how to prioritize each of your goals, and because of this you are successful.

Relying on your motivation alone to get you through the highs and lows of your journey is not wise. Motivation is like a muscle. You can grow this muscle and make it stronger, but all muscles tire out and need rest, so you need something deeper to get you through the times when forced motivation is not enough. At Hyp-Yoga we can this your inner inspiration. Inner inspiration is cultivated and stored in the subconscious mind. The part of your mind that works even if you are not thinking about it. When we store things in this part of our mind such as habits and behaviors we do these things like they are our second nature. (Such as driving, walking, etc.) It makes sense that we would want to put behaviors and thought patterns that would spur on our success in this part of the mind. It's what we call "conscious living with subconscious help!"

How can we do this? Hyp-Yoga classes work with the mind/body connection to open you up to put those positive suggestions for perserverance and drive while living in the present moment directly into your subconscious through yoga, hypnosis and other tools.

Task:  Hyp-Yoga® Anchor Mudra for Success

Mudras in yoga are hand gestures that stimulate your mind and body. They are like tiny yoga poses for your hands that you can do at any time. Gyan Mudra is an energizing mudra. To do this hand gesture, touch your thumb and index finger together while keeping the other fingers straight and joined. Tell your class this mudra already signals in your body that you are mentally relaxed, imparts happiness, develops the intellect, and sharpens creativity and memory.

To make this gesture even more powerful, let's anchor an emotion or feeling to this mudra right now. Go ahead and close your eyes. Touch your thumb and index fingertips together and then think about a time where you were exhilarated. A time when you were on top of the world, happy, energized and full of life. Feel that energy gather all together in your hands and in your mudra. Open your eyes and then practice this maybe 2 or 3 more times. Then, later on when you need a recharge, just use your anchor mudra to bring back those refreshing, re-energizing feelings.
